Montreal: Let's celebrate together

altThe Centre Leonardo da Vinci in Montreal (Canada) has scheduled important events this year for the celebrations of the 150th Anniversary of the Unification of Italy in collaboration with the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation, The Cultural Italian Institute and the Consulate General of Italy in Montrèal. The Centre has organised an exhibition on Leonardo’s machines, opened until 5th June, and some conferences given by Sara Taglialgamba.

Leonardo's machines in Lugano

The exhibition of the Machines drawn by Leonardo da Vinci is going to be open on 3rd July at the ex Macello establishment in Lugano, Switzerland.

The exhibition has over 40 machines on display, included many perfectly functioning musical automata, and built as replicas of the major and most striking inventions of that time.

The laboratory wants to achieve the knowledge on techniques and connections between anatomy and engineering and celebrate the da Vinci genius.

Exhibition "Leonardo Da Vinci: Man-GENIUS-inventor"

From October 31th, 2009 until November 31th, 2010, will be open to the public the exhibition entitled "Leonardo Da Vinci: Man-GENIUS-inventor. "The exhibit on Leonardo Da Vinci will be staged in the splendid rooms of the castle of Carnaiola in Fabro (Terni Province, Region of Umbria).
The exhibition will present 37 models of military and civilians vehicles, faithfully reproduced by drawings in Leonardo Codex (Atlantic, Madrid, Trivulziano).

For the first time, the exhibition Leonardo da Vinci and France, made by Castle of Clos Lucé, tracks and tells the story of the relationship between Leonardo and the kings of France. The exhibition is realized with the contest of the greatest scientific specialists in the history of the Renaissance and the Italian Maestro Carlo Pedretti, Pascal Briost, Romano Nanni.
